September 04

If you could take three months off from your current life and do anything in the world, what would you do?
 
Three months?  That sounds like a dream.  
 
You know how I am a tad obsessed with alpacas?  Well, I am also really into puffins.  Yep, puffins.

And since Iceland is their breeding ground, I would pack up Bobaloo and the pup and spend three months hanging out in Iceland.  Chilling with the birds isn't all there is to do, here are some other ways I'd spend my time...

1.  Northern Lights / 2.  Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa / 3.  Icelandic Horses / 4.  Glacier Tours / 5.  Whale Watching /
6.  Hiking in Landmannalaugar / 7.  Gullfoss (Golden Falls) / 8.  Capital City, Reykjavik


 If you had three months off, would you stay home or travel somewhere exciting?

    Wow Iceland looks gorgeous! I went whale-watching in Tadoussac, Canada - it was awesome :)

      I think it would be a little unnerving to see a whale that close up, but definitely an experience to be had. :)

    I would like to visit France. Half of the time by myself, and half of the time with the man/teen. (They wouldn't want to go.)

      Mais oui, France would be awesome. Why wouldn't they want to go to France? I could eat and drink my way through that country very easily. All that cheese...

      I guess the economy is pretty crummy there so it's reasonable for tourists to travel there right now. I would love, love to go!

    I love alpacas and puffins. Small world : ) Nice choice, I would love to spend time exploring Iceland. They have a belief that gnomes live in the rocks - I think thats pretty cool lol.

    I'd love to see the Northern Lights, ideally from Alaska, but I'd take a sighting anywhere to be honest. That blue lagoon looks amazing!
